Privacy- and cookie statement
Personal Data
We believe it is important to handle your personal data with care. That is why we would like to explain how we process it.
Information that can be traced back to a person is personal data. The protection of this data is regulated in the ‘General Data Protection Regulation’ (GDPR). This means that the same privacy legislation applies throughout the European Union (EU).
Who we are
We are Farrrow & Dutch and we mainly focus on work and employment. We are the controller as defined in the privacy laws and regulations for the processing of your personal data. We are located at Professor Pieter Willemsstraat 23, B02, 6224 CC Maastricht.
Legal basis
We only process data when we have a legal basis for doing so, such as:
- The performance of an agreement
- Consent
- Legal obligation
- Legitimate interest
- When we process data
- Job applications
When you participate in a job application procedure at Farrow & Dutch, we explicitly ask for your consent to process your data. We use your data to keep track of the application process and we may contact you based on this data about job application procedures and possibly other relevant vacancies. The moment you enter your data on our website, your personal data will be recorded for the performance of our services. The data we process depends on the purpose for which the data was provided. Our services include mediation, secondment, temporary employment, payroll administration and personnel management.
Newsletter
It is possible to subscribe to our newsletter in various places (based on so-called opt-in). Here we have the legal basis ‘consent’ to inform you about news and vacancies by email. We strive to limit the storage of your data in this case to the necessary: name and email address. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each newsletter.
Public sources
If you have published your data in a public place where we may assume that you are interested in work, then we have a legitimate interest (legal basis) to collect your personal data to approach you. Public places include publishing your CV on a job board or your LinkedIn profile.
Retention period
We store your data in order to be able to comply with the purpose for which it was collected. We determine the required retention period on the basis of laws and regulations and any claim risks, whereby the starting point is that we do not store the data for longer than necessary.
Your rights
You can have your data completely deleted, viewed, corrected or object to its transfer at any time, subject to legal restrictions, by sending an email with a request to danny@farrow.nl To ensure that the request for inspection was made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. We ask you to black out your passport photo and citizen service number (BSN) on this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will do our best to process and respond to your request as soon as possible, but no later than within 30 days.
Your data is used for:
- the performance of our services, such as employment mediation, secondment, temporary employment, recruitment & selection, payrolling, in- and outplacement, personal development, employability, reintegration, career guidance, outplacement, advice, research, planning and personnel and payroll administration;
- the performance of the agreement with you;
- to be able to make you offers and/or provide information about our services and other activities;
- to be able to record an assignment with the client in an agreement with the client and to maintain and comply with the agreement with the client;
- quality and management purposes, such as internal controls, audits, accountant’s audits and certifications;
- to be able to comply with laws and regulations or to comply with a court order or judgment.
The data we process includes, depending on the purpose:
- name, first names, initials, title, gender, date of birth, address, zip code, city of residence, bank account number, telephone number and similar data required for communication (such as email address, Skype name and LinkedIn profile), company name, contact person;
- nationality and place of birth;
- driving licence, language skills and professional skills;
- data relating to education, courses and internships followed and to be followed;
- data relating to the position you prefer;
- data relating to the nature and content of and client of a current employment mediation and its termination;
- data relating to the nature and content of previous employment mediations and their termination;
- other data relating to your work experience (this refers to work experience that you have gained, whether or not in employment);
- other data that is relevant in the context of employment mediation (for example, whether there is a subsidy scheme for employment mediation). The condition here is that this data has been provided by you or that you are aware that we use your data in this way;
- conversation and communication reports;
- source information from website visits, so that we can gain insight into where our visitors and applicants find us and our vacancies (further explained below);
- copy of identification document upon entering into employment in connection with a legal obligation.
Third parties
Farrow & Dutch will not provide your personal data to third parties for direct marketing purposes without your explicit consent. However, Farrrow & Dutch may provide your data to third parties insofar as this is necessary for the provision of the services to you and/or insofar as this data cannot be traced back to you personally. Finally, Farrow & Dutch may provide your data to third parties if it is obliged to do so on the basis of legal provisions, Farrrow & Dutch is forced to do so as a result of a lawsuit and/or in the event that Farrrow & Dutch deems it necessary to protect its own rights.
Security
We are committed to protecting your personal data as best we can. To this end, we have an information security policy. This policy consists of procedures, guidelines, measures that our employees must adhere to, as well as technical security measures. This includes, among other things, security software, such as a virus scanner and firewall, and we send your data via a secure internet connection. You can see this from the ‘https’ and the padlock in the address bar. In addition, we have processor agreements with data processors who process information on behalf of Farrow + Dutch. Your data may be transferred outside the Netherlands. Farrow & Dutch has taken the necessary measures to ensure that all transferred personal data is adequately protected.
Business relationships
In addition to the data of candidates, we process personal data of business contacts for the purpose of making offers, providing information about our services, maintaining the relationship and entering into or maintaining an agreement. Various legal grounds may apply here: consent, legitimate interest, legal obligation or the performance of an agreement.

Farrow & Dutch uses cookies and website statistics. When you first visit our website, you are given the choice of whether you want to allow marketing and analytical cookies, in addition to the essential cookies for the functioning of our website. We use cookies to see how visitors use our website, where our visitors find us on the internet and to advertise more specifically. In addition, this information helps us to improve the website. Just like many other websites, our website automatically collects certain non-identifiable information about users of the website. Farrow + Dutch has no influence on the way in which these platforms handle your personal data and Farrow & Dutch does not bear any responsibility for this and does not accept any liability.

Farrow & Dutch reserves the right to unilaterally amend this Privacy and Cookie Statement. The most recent version is always applicable. Changes will be published on this page.
